Moving is hard!

Life has been crazy! I feel as though I have spent far too long cleaning, and re-cleaning this house to prepare for it selling. It has been on the market for 3 days now, and we have had two showings. It has been stressful for me. And I am feeling very torn about our up coming move. Tucson may be a nice place to live, but I'm a little more sad about the few close friends that we are leaving behind, and the threatning thought of trying to make new friends. Sure this is probably on everyones mind when they move, but I don't make friends easily at all. Especially the kind that I feel comfortable enough to be myself around. I should be used to this by now. This will be the 3rd move with the company, 4th if you count the move to Herriman, Ut to be closer to the store. Geez, people joke that we move more than those in the military, which is true. My kids are a little annoyed, but we have loved moving around and seeing the sights. This one is a little harder though. This place has felt a little more like home than the last few. It's sad to leave this house that we have worked soo hard to improve. Sigh, oh well, I'm sure there will be many more experiences like this one. Many more moves that take us out of our comfort zones. We'll survive, we always do. I just don't know if I'm getting any stronger.
Tomorrow Kel and I fly down to AZ to find a place to live. The sad part is he stays down there to work, while I fly home by myself. Who cares if they haven't had a manager for 2 months or more. I need a little more time processing this....
Lol, ok, my whining is done. Wish us luck finding a place to live, and to sell this house in time.

Oh dear! So feel for you. I think the worst thing I ever did was sell a house. It ranks right up there w/ potty training in my opinion. :-) Good luck to you!

Moving is a trying experience. I can imagine how stressful this is to you and the family. I don't make friends that easily either so I feel your pain. Know that we love you and are thinking you of you.

Good luck to you. I am sure you will be blessed, but it doesn't make it any easier. Oh, it is hard! You talked with me about how hard it is for you to make friends before. I just can't believe it. You are amazing, anyone who gets to be your friend is so lucky!

Aw, your post made me sad, Emily. We feel really lucky to call you guys our friends, and are so sad that life is taking you away. I'm sure it will all work out for you guys...and who knows....maybe the air force will send us down your way one of these days. :) Have a good trip and give me a call if you think of anything I can help out with while you're away this week!

You poor thing! That would be hard. I think you are a super great person so, you should let your guard down! I would hate having to do all that alone! I think its great your looking at the positive sides too- the experience of moving around and seeing other places! That sounds fun. Also- go ahead and vent- we don't mind hearing it and it is good to let it out to help you regain your prespecitive!! Good luck on the upcoming adventure!
