Well it's been a whirlwind of a week, and we've had more blessings than I can name. First off, after a grueling search in Tucson, we finally found a home. We, of course, had heard that the houseing market has been hit hard, and we were anxious to make a deal with all the foreclosures. But it was hard to find one that we liked, and that didn't have offers already on the table. Some areas were great, others not so much. We really had to trust that we would be led to the right area for our family. And after much consideration, ended up signing a deal for a new home, still being built. All the builders have had to compete with the foreclosures so the prices were about the same. But here's the bonus, it's a floorplan that I really like, and works for our family. We were able to pick a lot of our own colors, plus the incentives were really really good. Our home ended up being in a cul-de-sac, just down the street from a park, and pool. Plus I prayed for this...no back yard neighbors. Yea! I hate feeling spyed on! Here's a link to the neighborhood in case your interested. It is RanchoSahuarita.com. Go check it out, but be warned I may just be trying to entice you to come visit! Come in the winter when it is 65 degrees outside...
The other happy news, is that our house has been on the market for 8 days, and we went under contract today. I about went crazy with all the showings and trying to keep this place clean. My kids were about to form a mutiny. We worked hard, but it was worth it. I never realized how much babies are like walking windstorms, especially during meal times. They can make two messes to everyone I can clean up!
So things are lining up just perfectly. I guess we really are meant to move down there. Or it wouldn't all happen this way. It's also proof to me that the Lord hears and answers our prayers!
