After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, she is finally here. I was resigned to the fact that I might be pregnant forever. With a due date in question, it was hard to anticipate or expect anything. We are just glad little Lily is safe.

I'm always amazed how these little ones make it here, safe and sound. I get comments all the time when people find out that I had a home birth how strong OR crazy I must be. And this time through, I have to admit I felt a little crazy. There were times when having drugs would have been real nice, but I wouldn't change anything. Life is nothing short of a miracle, and I'm happy to have been a part of it. Recovery has taken a little longer than I remember the last two taking, but don't worry I am taking full advantage of Kel being able to stay home and take care of us. He's doing a great job! I also have two other big helpers, Kyrie and Brielle have been a treasure. Yes, they have about destroyed the house, but are always willing to get whatever I need. And of course, they beg to hold the baby whenever they can. They get frustrated that she is always sleeping. I hope that lasts a little bit longer!

Congratulations. We are so excited for you guys. I'm glad you are all doing well. I'm sure Kel is working hard to keep you comfortable so you can heal and get some rest. Men are good like that. Lily is so cute. She looks different than the other two, but that could be for a number of reasons. Congratulations again.
