Not a baby anymore!
Kel's amazingness
Tuesday, October 20, 2009
Here are a few pictures of a couple weeks ago when we went to Helen Hunt Falls. We had fun just being outside together. It was a gorgeous Saturday. It was the last for a while. Can you believe that we already have had snow and a huge ice storm that froze all my nice plants? Crazy weather out here!

Grosses me out...
So after a while of her nonstop talking to her worms and when it was time to go in, we put them to bed back in the ground. We visit them often, of course they're never the same worms, but that's ok.
P.s. she does the same thing with ants...

Time flies
The other thing that I like to do when I'm not taking care of the little ones, is spending every spare moment I have out into the yard, to work on my green thumb. I say that because my green thumb is not very good out here. It seems mostly brown, it takes a lot of coaxing to get things to grow in this crazy climate. Water restrictions aren't helping either. I don't know how many wheelbarrows of sand I have hauled out in the last year, only to fill it back up with good dirt and amendments. Probably close to 100, no joke. I recently splurged and bought myself a composting machine thingy. I was so excited. I know it's not a new pair of shoes or purse like normal girls get excited over, but then, I'm wierd!
Lily is now 2 months old, so I should post some pics... here are a few:

Happy 4th Brielle!
Little Brielle has just turned 4, and is no longer my little baby. She has been waiting for this day for 4 months, and counting down for at least the last month. I hope it was everything that she was expecting.
She decided that the perfect thing would be going to Chuck E. Cheese. And since little Lily was only a week old, I volunteered Kel to go with 7 little kids. Don't worry, he had some help from our saint-worthy neighbor friends. 250 tokens later, they came home for cake, ice cream and presents.
Kel's only comment afterward was "those kids were exhausting". I can only imagine. I was the one that had a two hour nap after the party...
Brielle didn't have many requests, but she did want to wear a princess party dress, and have a rainbow cake, easy enough, I'm glad she's still easy to please. She has been a little girl that has always known exactly what she's wanted. I hope that means she'll be more decisive that me!
I've enclosed a little clip of Brielle and Lily, I think it shows her personality perfectly. It was twice as long, but sadly wouldn't fit. Enjoy.

happy house
9:12 am
Friday, Feb 27th
I'm always amazed how these little ones make it here, safe and sound. I get comments all the time when people find out that I had a home birth how strong OR crazy I must be. And this time through, I have to admit I felt a little crazy. There were times when having drugs would have been real nice, but I wouldn't change anything. Life is nothing short of a miracle, and I'm happy to have been a part of it. Recovery has taken a little longer than I remember the last two taking, but don't worry I am taking full advantage of Kel being able to stay home and take care of us. He's doing a great job! I also have two other big helpers, Kyrie and Brielle have been a treasure. Yes, they have about destroyed the house, but are always willing to get whatever I need. And of course, they beg to hold the baby whenever they can. They get frustrated that she is always sleeping. I hope that lasts a little bit longer!
