Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start....I feel so removed from blogging, it's hard to even get in the right mindset anymore. My time is never my own anymore. The little baby has been sick this week so it's been a little trying this week. Most of the time she's been in good spirit's, but it's just hard watching them go through this knowing you've done everything you can. It just takes time for their little bodies.
So quick updates:
We had a whirlwind of a week while we visited Family in Utah and also Idaho. Too much driving if you ask me. Kelly's grandparents celebrated their 50th anniversary, so last minute we decided to go. It couldn't have happened over a better week. We celebrated Kelly's 30th Birthday. We had a little barbeque and got a chance to catch up with some friends that we haven't seen for years. Kel had to fly home to work, but then came out the next week to pick us up. It was so nice of him to agree to that much traveling in such a short amount of time, and mostly just to make sure we get there and home safely.
We were able to visit the Oquirrh Hills Temple Open house. Kyrie was so excited to be able to go inside. Ivy tried to get in the baptisimal font. And Kyrie liked seeing herself in the sealing room mirrors that seem like they go on for eternity. It was a gorgeous day.
We went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. We haven't been there since Kyrie was a year old, now my little baby is seven. I can't believe that. The kids had fun digging for fossils, and seeing about a hundred life size models. Ok maybe that's an exhaggeration, not by far though. They also got a kick out seeing a real live rat swimming in the pond. I think some believed me when I told them it was a real dinosaur rat. We saw a scientist clean real bones from a new species found in Escalante, Utah. My favorite was eating mormon muffins that our friend Angela brought from nearby Rainbow Gardens. So much fun!
4th of July festivities with family. We still were able to sit at our annual spot for the parade. what a fun tradition. We then went home to take it easy and just visit with family. we of course went back for the fireworks. It was nice to see them, since colorado springs has long since cut them from the budget.
I got sick. I know yipee , that's something to blog about. This has been the first time in years that I was actually out of commission, and unable to stand for more than a few seconds. Thankfully I had my mom to help me out with the kids. It's nice to have someone take care of you, and care about your wellbeing instead of always the other way around.
Went to Park City for a little shopping.
Celebrated Kyrie's Birthday. just a little party this year with cousins and cake.
Then we celebrated my birthday by driving home. And yes, my birthday surprise was that I was finally able to upgrade my camera to the latest Rebel model. Ahhh, I love it. I've had a little bit of time to try and figure it out, and it's not as intimidating and I thought it would be. Trust me though I still have a lot to learn. That last picture of Kyrie at the piano was completely unedited because I'm still trying to figure out photoshop. I'm having fun learning though.
What is this?? I asked myself the other day. This is not the face of my little baby. This is the beginnings of a toddler that is growing up way too fast. Granted she is only 9 months old, but these 9 months went by faster than I expected. Lily has already mastered many feats that took my other girls much longer. #1 She has eight teeth, she waves, she claps, she CLIMBS stairs, and is learning very quickly to come back down. She laughs when you get mad at her for pulling all the geraniums off the stems. Unrolls all the toilet paper. Jumps in the bath with the girls when not invited. Her hair is a constant mess from pulling out clips. If she's getting into this kind of trouble now, what am I going to do in a few months? Thinking of this makes me reminisce, so I've pulled out a couple pics to show her growth. Gotta love her!
Ivy still loves her sister an awfully lot. She never seems to stop wanting to give her hugs and kisses. 
I get this look quite often. I imagine she's thinking "mom, what are you doing?"
After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, she is finally here. I was resigned to the fact that I might be pregnant forever. With a due date in question, it was hard to anticipate or expect anything. We are just glad little Lily is safe.
